When I was contacted by Yvonne of Pampered Soul her existing website was starting to look a little tired and Yvonne felt it no longer represented her business. 2020 was a difficult year for everyone and Yvonne’s business suffered due to the lockdown. Able to re-open her salon based in the Leisure Club of Blackwell Grange Hotel in the summer and then forced to close again, in line with pandemic restrictions, did provide Yvonne with a window of opportunity to decide on a change for her new website.
Creating a completely new design for the website, incorporating lighter colours and using font size and style to highlight some of the key offerings Yvonne provides.
Having a website with an associated email account built on the domain meant that immediately prior to launch I liaised with the outgoing host Yvonne had used on her old website. Website developers tend to cooperate and work well together; we all understand that clients may wish to move hosting and it is not in anyone’s interest to make things difficult.
After a short interruption to Yvonne’s email the site launched and her email service was reinstated…and Yvonne has a lovely new website with her appointment booking platform embedded.
I absolutely cannot wait to book an appointment and pamper myself with one of the treatments Yvonne offers…my only dilemma…which one to try first!
